QR code cannot be scanned

Cause:

  • The SIMConnect QR Code is damaged, unreadable or has problems with your mobile device's camera.

Step-by-Step Solution:

Step 1 - Verify the quality of the QR Code:

  • Make sure that the SIMConnect QR code is clear and undamaged.

Step 2 - Clean the camera lens:

  • Clean the camera lens to make sure it is not dirty or obstructed.

Step 3 - Improve illumination:

  • Try scanning the SIMConnect QR code in a well-lit area to improve detection.

Step 4 - Manual Data Entry:

  • There is a iOS procedure and a Android procedure to enter the data manually from the Address SM-DP+ and the Activation Code. It is not necessary to scan the SIMConnect QR code with the camera of the mobile device.

Step 5 - Request a New QR Code:

  • If the fault persists after having performed and verified the above steps, you should contact Technical Support to verify if the SIMConnect QR code is damaged.
