VoIP calls and messages:
You can make and receive calls using your regular telephone number, as long as your operator supports Wi-Fi calling. If this feature is enabled on your device, your phone will connect to your carrier's network via the Internet using the data connection of the SIMConnect (VoIP). This will allow you to make and receive calls as well as text messages without roaming charges or additional costs, since the call will be made over the data connection of the SIMConnect.
Use of WhatsApp:
You may use WhatsApp and other applications linked to your phone number, it will automatically use the data connection of your phone number. SIMConnect. Enable Wi-Fi Calling:
Follow the steps below to enable Wi-Fi calling (VoIP) on your phone:
- Open Configuration.

- Make sure that your Default voice line is configured as Primary (your usual telephone number).

- Search for the option Wi-Fi calling and activate this option.
Use of Wi-Fi Calling:
When the Wi-Fi calling are enabled, the phone will use any available internet connection (SIMConnect or Wi-Fi data) to connect to your carrier. You should see something like "Carrier Wi-Fi"in the status bar, where "Carrier"is the name of your usual mobile plan provider.
When active and connected, your primary line will automatically receive SMS and calls through the internet connection of the SIMConnect.
Operator Roaming Charges:
Our data plans SIMConnect are intended to replace the roaming from your local operator and prevent additional charges from roaming. When the SIMConnect is installed correctly, typically your local operator will not charge roaming additional.
- Data roaming charges: They will not be charged as long as the SIMConnect is properly installed and configured, and the data roaming is deactivated in your regular phone plan.
- Charges for international calls: Some operators may even charge when using Wi-Fi calls with the data connection of the SIMConnect (not common).
- International SMS charges: Some operators may even charge when using Wi-Fi calls with the data connection of the SIMConnect (not common).
Remember that the SIMConnect does not interact with your local operator and we have no control over your phone plan. It is always best to contact your operator to confirm if there are roaming when using Wi-Fi calling abroad.
